We invited Bubba Brothers to share with us the projects they have going on for 2023. Here’s what they said.
Hello Bubba Brothers, how are you?
Hi guys 🙂 all well. Thanks for this opportunnity.
2023 is here and we’d like to know more about your plans and upcoming projects, do you have any new releases coming up?
Our EP Frenetic Desire is coming out 17th of February, we are very excited about that, and also another EP will be launched in April by the fantastic Monkey League label, so we are really over the moon with the way 2023 started.
How about live shows, how does your live show schedule look like for the coming months?
We have a lot going on and are we are about to finalize details about our residency in Ibiza for this summer, we will have DJ Chus as our guest on our anniversary at Rooftop Eva Faro, we’ll be also in Barcelona for Sónar…so a lot of thinks are going on..stay tuned! 🙂
Are there any special venues you’d like to perform at this year?
Wonderland for sure, and a few others
Do you have new upcoming collaborations? Are there other artists you’d like to work with?
We are going to have the amazing Eddy Romero on “Frenetic Desire” with a remix, and also FRINK further on in the year and others will follow. As we speak, “Carls Groove” with Ben Spalding and Dan Ros is already out there..so yes…we will collaborate as much as we can with people that share our taste and sound.
Are there any other projects you’re embarking upon this year? Is there a new implementation to your production workflow or your live performances you’d like to try this year?
We will have better and more original visuals as we consider that a very important part of our acts.
On a personal note, are there any new resolutions you made for yourselves this year?
Not really, as we know that we are not going to keep them anyway…LOL
What new milestones would you like to achieve with your music?
Increase the number of people that listen to our music, getting more fans involved with us and having larger crowds at our gigs.
What’s the most important thing you’re looking forward to this 2023?
I think that the possible Ibiza residency will be THE milestone among others. But we love the Ibiza vibe so we are very very excited about that! 🙂
