Mon.Ton has been something of a labour of love for Techno connoisseur Toma Hawk who has been testing the waters with this insatiable deep Techno sound for some months now with releases such as ‘Destination Zero’ and ‘Velvet’. Now he has let the moniker spread its wings with an incredible EP called ‘Green Fairy’.
‘Black Window’ is the first track on the EP where the music explodes into your ears and definitely making a lasting first impression. Featuring a stomping bassline and choppy instrumentation before the drop kicks in and blows your socks off. Keeping with the darkness the vocal samples sends chills up your spine preparing you for the next tune.
Following up is ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ which is erratic and fierce, scrambling all of your senses and hypnotizing you instantly. You can always expect to get more than you bargained for with Toma Hawk so he has also given you another version of ‘Black Window’ is his signature Toma Hawk way.
