ALWZ SNNY is a DJ and producer from the USA who brings sunshine and brightness to everything he does. Having had an exceptional year for releases such as ‘Wasted’, ‘As Long As We’re Together’ and ‘Sail Away’, ALWZ SNNY has continuously proven his capabilities and have even ventured into a brand new genre called Country Dance. We caught up with ALWZ SNNY to find out about how he spends his Christmas and to listen to his exclusive guest mix.
What is your favourite thing about the Christmas period?
Spending time with family on Christmas Day.
How will you be spending your Christmas this year?
Planning on spending time with my mother, aunt, and girlfriend. We have to, unfortunately, keep it small this year. I’m sure there will be a zoom call in there at some point.
What would be your dream Christmas present?
COVID to be over! I want Festivals again!
Do you have a favourite Christmas song?
“White Christmas” by Louis Armstrong. It’s the only Christmas song I feel comfortable singing.
If you could spend the holiday period anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I think it would be fun to spend a Holiday in Rio De Janeiro. I have never been but think it would be a great time!
Do you have any unique family traditions at Christmas?
We have this white elephant gift that has been going around for a decade. It’s a head-scratcher that I originally bought for my cousin. It was the worst gift ever! She returned it to me the next year, and it has been a white elephant gift ever since!
What is your favourite Christmas film?
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
Which are your must-have festive foods?
I would say Turkey! Especially the turkey leg for me!
How do you usually spend your New Year’s Eve?
I love going to Vegas for New Years. It would be really cool to be DJing somewhere next NYE.
Finally, do you have any new year’s resolutions for 2021 and do you think you
will stick to them?
I want to create and put out a remix a week. I think that would be something really cool to do! I think I can do it!
