New York-based DJ and Producer Jacob Colon has been climbing his way up the ranks and is one of the most promising artists in the House scene at the moment. With releases on Nervous Records, Made in Miami and InCommand his talents have grabbed the attention from everyone in the industry so we sat down with Jacob for a quickfire interview.

Pacha NYC closing party with Eric Morillo.
Preferred BPM?
124 always! Keep it fast enough to dance but not too fast, we didn’t come to just nod our heads. #footwork
Ibiza or Berlin?
Ibiza. I love the islands!
Funniest career moment?
The first time I was approached and asked to take a picture with someone. I wasn’t used to it at that time, and I thought I was going to get into a fight because the guy literally slapped my back in excitement then stood there and finally asked for a picture after I stared at him.
Favourite club?
I’ve got a few. Pacha NYC, Output in BK and Stereo in Montreal…

Night parties all the way
Biggest achievement so far?
I received a Billboard plaque for achieving the #1 position on a remix with Crystal Waters.
